The Thornhill Woods Neighbourhood is situated in Patterson, Vaughan, north of 
Highway 7 and south of Rutherford Avenue. Its eastern boundary is Bathurst Avenue and its western boundary is Dufferin Street. It's an affluent and relatively new neighbourhood. Real estate in Thornhill Woods is pricey due to its convenient location, near the 407, 400 and 404 Highways, which makes it popular. It orginally was a primarily Jewish neighbourhood, and even today there are several Jewish places of worship in Thornhill Woods. However, over the years, it has become quite multi-ethnic. In particular, Korean, Chinese & Italian buyers have moved into the area. Thornhill Woods is characterized by its tree'd surroundings, hence the eponymous moniker.
